JUAN PARIS ART GALLERY

JUAN PARIS was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1978. He studied Visual Arts with a fine Art emphasis at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.  He started to work and experiment with CG images leading the way to make self-instructed studies in 3D animation and modelling. He participated in festivals and animation shows, but soon he figured out that painting was a more accurate medium of expression for his needs.

In his work, he combines look alike digital images with organic figures, that seem to float in an ungravity field. The paintings have a strong influence of modern physics and technology, resulting in a unique way of nterpretating the contemporary world, as a constant mixture of technology needs and enviromental issues.
